L'Occitane's big autumn release has been causing a huge stir among beauty writers of late. The exceptionally luxurious Créme Masque Divine, which comes with a 24-carat gold face massager is the closest thing you can get to a top of the line spa facial from the comfort of your own home.
L'Occitane's original Créme Divine moisturiser is known for being one of the best anti-aging moisturisers on the market and a skincare classic so when the brand announced the launch of the Divine Cream Mask there was great excitement among beauty fans and skincare lovers everywhere.
The Créme Masque Divine is a product with a difference. Coming with a 24-carat gold face massager and three-step instructions even just the process of using it is pamper heaven. But the most remarkable thing I found using this - and the most important part overall of course - is the effect it has on your skin. The difference in the quality and radiance your skin straight after you finish using it is immediately apparent and the more you use it the more of a difference you notice.
Branded as "The ultimate youth care mask", Créme Masque Divine is designed to tackle dehydration, lines and wrinkles, dull complexion, uneven skin tone and lack of tonicity in your skin. The effect on you skin is immediate but also with regular use you notice improvements over time. The key ingredients in this mask are the Immortelle flower that the whole Divine range is based around which is a powerful anti-oxidant with the ability to boost collagen production and help firm your skin; Shea Butter which has soothing and repairing properties to help nourish and soothe your skin; and Cistus Extract which is known for its relaxation properties to help soothe your skin by reducing the feeling of tightness and helps to calm your skin.
Overall the masque nourishes, soothes, smooths and brightens your skin and the whole process is great for a bit of relaxation and pampering a couple of times a week. The main point is I noticed such a difference in my skin in terms of smoothness and radiance as soon as I washed it off, it's major skin TLC.
These instructions give you a good overall idea about the whole process of using the mask and massager. What I really loved about the combination was it's very smart and very like something you'd have done during the process of a facial. The massager helps get the most out of the product by using the two sides before and during using the mask. The smooth side massages and smooths your skin and the bumpy side invigorates and awakens the skin. Plus it's so relaxing to use and go through the whole process it's definitely a routine I could get behind!
The Créme Masque Divine doesn't come cheap at €118, though the 65ml is bigger than your normal jar and the pot would last a year as you don't need a huge amount each time; you also have the 24-carat gold face massager in the package. It's not exactly a product you buy on a whim but it strikes me as a brilliant treat if you are having problems with your skin and it needs some extra TLC, if you're preparing your skin for a special event like your wedding or if you want to buy someone the most amazing pampering treat.
L'Occitane's Créme Masque Divine launched September 9th and is available from L'Occitane stores nationwide and online and http://ie.loccitane.com/
