Delectable Christmas Delights: L'Occitane's Pierre Hermé Collection

Fabulous French luxury brand L'Occitane is back this year with another delicious Christmas collection, this time a collaboration between L'Occitane founder Olivier Baussan and world renowned pastry chef Pierre Hermé.

After last year's gorgeous Christmas release by L'Occitane, the Arlésienne collection inspired by the Arlés region in France - which reminds me of Christmas every time I spray it - the innovative founder of L'Occitane Olivier Baussan has come up with the delicious goods again this year by collaborating with French pastry chef Pierre Hermé to create a mouth-watering set of perfumes just launched for Christmas based on the chef's world renowned pastries.

There are two perfume-based collections available this Christmas, both as delicious as the other, both also quite different. At the launch earlier this year it was clear how different people at the event strongly preferred one or the other of these very distinct and gorgeous scents. L'Occitane constantly excel with their fragrance lines for both men and women and yet again this collaboration, uniquely with the master French pastry chef Pierre Hermé, is a thing of beauty and two of the most gorgeous scents you'll come across this Christmas.

The beautifully designed and unique limited edition collections come with matching soaps, hand creams, showel gels, lip balms and body lotions that can be bought separately or as a collection in the beautifully designed gift box below. L'Occitane consistently designs its product packaging as beautifully as it creates the highest quality products with so much thought put into every new release which makes the brand extremely unique and so many of its products a step above the rest.

Perfume €56. Hand Cream €10.50, Soap €4.50, Body Lotion €24.50, Lip Balm €10, Shower Gel €17.50, Collection €68

The yellow collection is based around the gorgeous Jasmin-Immortelle-Neroli fragrance which smells very distinctly of Jasmin with beautiful undertones of L'Occitane's renowned Immortelle flower which is used in many of their most luxurious skincare products; comforting Neroli which is contained in one of my other favourite L'Occitane fragrances Neroli and Orchide;with a lovely, fresh peppery tint underneath. The scent is luxurious, fresh and feminine and good enough to eat! The perfume as a whole contains floral notes of Jasmine, Neroli, Orange Blossom and the beautiful hint of the Corsican Immortelle Flower which the brand has become known for.

The second fragrance, which is my personal favourite, involves another collection of scents that blend together perfectly to create both a citrus and sweet effect. The Pamplemousse-Rhubarbe fragrance is a gorgeous mixture of the main scents, Grapefruit and Rhubarb, mixed with undertones of spices and cedar. The whole collection is mouthwatering and delicious and a very comforting winter scent.

Like the Jasmin-Immortelle-Neroli perfume, the collection comes in a beautiful box that matches the perfume box, which is honestly my all time favourite packaging for a fragrance, with the main products from the line making it the perfect gift for Christmas. Between the unique, almost hat box style, packaging of the perfume and the gorgeous design of the line as a whole, both will make the lucky person you gift any of the products from the range to very happy on Christmas morning or act as the perfect pamper gift for yourself.

The L'Occitane Pierre Hermé Collection is available from L'Occitane stores nationwide and at http://ie.loccitane.com/pierre-herme-paris
